Titel: Issue with BOM logging into Ebay
Verfasst am: 23.11.2019 - 17:40 (GMT 1)
Long time BOM user. Version running is 2.14.16, keyfile v1.0.144.
My last use of BOM was a month or so ago without error. Today I opened it and found that when I attempted to read all watched items, the program would not successfully log in to ebay. It opens what looks like a web page that has an address to a location on my computer C:\Users\i5-8400\AppData\Local\Temp\scratch.html but has the ebay logo on it stating:
Please verify yourself to continue

JavaScript needs to be enabled to complete CAPTCHA. (with COMPLETE CAPTCHA button next to it)
Below that there is a long narrow dialog box stating: Internet Explorer restricted this web page from running scripts or Active X controls.
I'm fairly certain my scripts and Active X restriction are set to run. If I click on the complete Captcha radio button nothing happens
I get the same result with Chrome or IE set as my default browser. Can anyone guide me towards a fix?
could this be the same issue addressed on the thread https://www.bid-o-matic.org/forum/viewtopic.php?t=3999&sid=c4d90e71cdd3fa75df11c0f1c5c2bd57 ? And if so, as I am in the states would the server string edit simply be:
scriptserver 5: login
Script5 = "ebay.com"
Thanks in advance for the advice!
