Hallo!

Ich hab das gleiche Problem, keine Scrollleiste.
Und ich finde im benannten Ordner keine Settings.ini die ich umbennen könnte

Hab auch schon neu installiert, leider ohne Erfolg.
Hat noch jemand ne Idee?

Und siehe da: der Scrollbalken ist wieder da.

Ähm, wie gehts jetzt weiter? Muss ich die settings.ini jetzt löschen, Einstellungen neu vornehmen und speichern?

Semi-good news: In the html I posted recently you see only placeholders, no real data. That means some javascript has to fill these with real values. And indeed there is some kind of data structure (JSON) where all the stuff exists that BOM needs, here a short snippet:

That means, if they keep using this method they will not change the key words that often as they did with the class/span tags in their html. If so BOM could be where stable in parsing the data over a long time and this should work site independent (com/de/fr/it/whatsoever).

But we will have to wait until its common to all servers and BOM needs slightly changes to parse the unix timestamp date values.

I thought about API several times. You'll have to be certified to get a key, this may done as you explained by leaving out the bid function but the other problem are the cost for API calls. Last time I checked there was a small amount for Free and bigger amounts have to be purchased. That does not Match with Boms Free approach.

AFAIK, there's no charge for search type calls.

Access and Rate Limiting

Access to eBay Shopping APIs is over HTTP protocol, and requires an AppID. User-level authentication is not required. eBay Shopping API requests are limited to 5,000 requests per IP per day. To request additional queries, apply for a Compatible Application Check.

I can't find any fees that they charge for using this. In fact it looks like they only charge fees for normal seller usage of eBay - nothing for the APIs.

Hm, it was the certification then. 5000 per day is nothing. Like 50 items every 15 minutes. So you will Need to be certified. But what kind of program you would you suggest that ebay would give a key for more often calls?

It seems to me they want to encourage people to search and bid. As long as the software encourages that they should certify it.

Clearly a new program needs to be split into regular items and buy it now items. That will cut down on needed queries.

Hallo Forum,

ich erhalte die obenstehende Fehlermeldung, wenn ich Artikel aus Ebay USA eingebe. Das hat bisher immer funktioniert. Jetzt musste ich aber den gesamten PC neu bespielen, also Windows 7 wieder drauf und auch BOM neu installieren. Seitdem erscheint also diese Meldung. Weiß jemand von Euch Rat?

ebay.com baut die Seitenstruktur um. Es wird demnächst ein Update geben sobald das Seitenlayout stabil ist. Momentan wechselt das nämlich noch zu oft hin und her.

Ich hatte immer noch die Hoffnung, eine Lösung zu erhalten, leider vergeblich.
Jetzt ist wieder das Gleiche passiert: Bei 9 Geboten gab es 2 x Fehler, einmal nicht geboten und einmal überboten, obwohl ich $ 7.98 über dem letztlich erzielten Preis lag. Und wieder war es ausgerechnet die CD, wegen der ich überhaupt Gebote abgab.

Es sieht also so aus, daß das BOM wohl in die Tonne gekloppt weren muß.
Schade....

Der Fix scheint bei mir auch zu fuktionieren.
Nur wird ab und an eine 16-stellige Zahl der Bescheibung angefügt.
Stört aber nicht sonderlich.

rako1966's Fix in der ServerStrings_ebay.de.ini hat bei mir leider nicht funktioniert. Bei sind die Artikelzeilen neuerdings (gestern oder vorgestern gings noch) GANZ leer, d.h. es gibt auch keine Restzeit und keinen Preis...

I'm located in the United States, and I've been using Biet-O-Matic off and on for several years, with pretty good success.

About 6 months ago, it basically quit working when I asked it to read in my watched items list, or even manually entering an item.

Every item returns an 'item does not exist on server' error. It actually ‘reads’ the number of items that I am watching, shows the correct item number, but does not list any detail for any of them, such as the current price, time left, etc.

Since I haven't been bidding on many items on eBay lately, I just ignored the problem.

On Monday, 10-8-2012, I decided to try it again. I uninstalled the ‘old’ version, downloaded the latest version from the web site and installed and configured it with the US server settings (Server_Strings_ebay.com.ini).

It again did not work.

In desperation, I decided to try another countries server settings. I tried the United Kingdom server, and Biet-O-Matic worked normally. So, I tried the Canadian server, and again it worked. I tried the Australian server, and again it worked fine. I put it back to the US server, and again received received the 'item does not exist on server' message.

So, unless I’m missing something simple, I’d like to report that the US server settings do not work, and have not worked for at least 4 months.

I did look in a few places on the forums for similar reports, but since this forum is in German, it was pretty hard to tell (even with Google Translate).

Right now I’m using the Canadian server settings (since I’m in the United States), so I don’t think it is an eBay thing, or an error in the overall functioning of Biet-O-Matic, just an error in the US server strings.

Any help with this problem would be appreciated.

PS: I chose "English" as the forum language...but it's still in German

Hallo zusammen.

Warum kann man nicht mehr alle Artikel eines Verkäufers ins BOM ziehen?

Man konnte früher einfach den Link, z.B.

"Drucker, Scanner & Zubehör (7)"

per drag and drop ins BOM Ziehen und es wurde dann alle Artikel, in diesem Fall 7 Stück eingefügt.

Habt Ihr einen Tip für mich wie das trotzdem noch gehen könnte?

bei einer Auktion zeigt BOM einen Fehler an. Ich hatte mehr geboten, als der, der den Zuschlag bekam.
