Titel: Was ging hier schief?

Hallo,
Not being a programmer, would it be possible to get a tutorial on how to make these changes using Windows 7? If it is just copying and pasting some code into a file in notepad, I think most people can handle that. But the post was so vague, I wasn't even sure what file to open in notepad. I tried the main BOT file and that opened completely garbled. Any help appreciated. Love the program!
Thanks.

In this case, open the file named ServerStrings_ebay.com.ini
When you save it, make sure it's the same name - not that name with .txt added.
It's a good idea to make a copy of the file first, just in case.
Otherwise, yes, search for ansPrice1= and change it so it reads as in the posted message. Do the same for the other fixes.
The post is shortcut speech programmers use - a bit hard to follow.

Thank you. That worked for US auctions. However I still cannot bid on German and French auctions with BOM as I could recently.

Okay, the system seems to have reset itself now, all US and EU auctions seem okay. Thanks for the timely support! Great stuff.

Laut Angebot: Beendet: 13. Sep. 201217:24:52 MESZ
Was hast Du denn für Vorlaufzeiten eingestellt?

Changing server strings does make a BIG difference, appreciate that I could get them here. Even won a $.01 auction just to make sure!
Is there going to be a version change update also?
Thanks again

Da war was faul.

Update will be available as soon as ebay stops working on their layout.
They recently broke it again
As of now, the end date of an item isn't shown anymore. Thats a real big problem.
In the html source of the page I found things like:
Code: |
<!-- TODO:check if End Date is shown in any scenario? -->
<!-- Time Left -->
<div id="w1-23-_timeLeft_wrp" class="wrapper" >
<div class="lable">Time left:</div>
<div class="flL defaultText"><span id="w1-23-_timeLeft_val" ></span></div>
<div class="spcr spcr25" ></div>
</div>
|
Sounds like they are still working on it.

I wish they'd fix code that IS broken instead of breaking code that is OK.

Yes, completely different things. Browser on one hand, BOM on the other. When I'm testing, I force BOM to delete cookies on every single item update, then it seems I get a different ebay server each time. I see update which go ok (like the code you posted) and the ones which fail have the code I posted.
