der Installer/FullSetup hat mit dem AutoUpdater nichts zu tun, die Pflege der 'losen' INIs hat sich in diesem Fall einmalig überschnitten.
aber wenn dir nicht passt was die Leute hier seit Jahren in Ihrer Freizeit für so Leute wie dich kostenfrei bereitstellen, dann geh doch einfach weg.

Ich verwende BOM nicht nur zum Ersteigern von Artikeln sondern auch als "Nachschlagewerk" welchen Preis bestimmte Artikel denn zum Schluss erbracht haben.
Mittlerweile haben sich in meinem BOM so ungefähr 400-500 Zeilen angesammelt.
Davon würde ich jetzt gerne ein paar Löschen.
Doch soviel ich sehen kann gibt es nur eine Einzellöschung pro Zeile oder Alles-Löschen.
Ein Löschvurgang z.B. mit dem Filter "Fritzbox" scheint es nicht zu geben.
Sehe ich das richtig?
Die Artikel sind ja vermutlich irgendwo in einer Textdatei abgespeichert.
In welcher? Kann ich die direkt Editieren und dann BOM damit wieder starten?

Hallo BOM Forum Leser,
habe mit BOM ein Problem beim login von meinem ebay Konto. Früher hat es immer einwandfrei funktioniert, jetzt erscheint folgende Seite im Browser:
file:///C:/Users/Joachim/AppData/Local/Temp/scratch.html
Es wird angezeigt, das ich mein ebay Konto bestätigen soll, siehe angehängte Bilddatei. Wenn ich eine Auswahl bestätige, kommt eine leere Seite mit Adresse: file:///C:/Options
Habe alle möglichen Lösungen im Forum schon gelesen und ausprobiert, aber die Seite mit der Bestätigung bleibt beim einloggen im BOM mit einer BOM-Fehlermeldung "Status: Fehlerhaftes Login " bestehen.
Würde mich freuen, wenn das bitte gelöst werden kann, vorab vielen Dank für das Lesen.

Bei dem Versuch die Installation zu ändern kommt automatisch ein Reparaturmodus.
Eine Reparatur bringt aber nichts.
Welche Möglichkeiten hat man noch?

ich hatte in den letzten Tagen auch Probleme mit BOM:
- Serverstrings-Update 2.14.14 wurde im Programm angezeigt, aber wenn man den Updater gestartet hat, ist er mit der Meldung "HTTP Not Found" (ungefähr so, aus der Erinnerung) fehlgeschlagen und die Server Strings wurden nicht ersetzt
- automatisches Bieten nicht mehr möglich, bei allen nicht-Sofortkauf-Artikeln stand "nur Anzeige" (also irgendwie fälschlich als Werbelink erkannt?)

Wenn man den BOMUpdater von Hand startet, wird auch dort angeboten, einfach auf die Webseite zur aktuellsten Version zu gehen. Dort ist es dann das INIFiles-Archiv, in dem die Server Strings gepackt sind. Dies muss man einfach ins Installationsverzeichnis von BOM entpacken (also normal C:\Program Files (c86)\Biet-o-Matic.
Danach war es leider immer noch nicht wieder möglich, automatische Gebote einzustellen - nach wie vor die Sperre mit der Anmerkung "nur Anzeige". Toll!
Mir fiel dann in der ServerStrings_ebay.de.ini auf, dass die Zeile, die hier öfter mal zur Fehlerbehebung genannt wird, nun so aussieht - man beachte das offenbar neue "buy/"-Präfix!

Ich habe sie dann folgendermaßen geändert:

Dann (WICHTIG!) alle Artikel aus der Liste entfernt per Menüpunkt Aktionen -> Alle Artikel entfernen und die beobachteten Artikel danach neu eingelesen. Seitdem geht es wieder.

Hi all,
I am creating Assembly drawings using AutoCAD 2017. All of my assembly drawings are created using blocks that contain parts references. When I insert the blocks, the BOM gets updated with the correct part references and quantities. My problem is that I have to check to make sure the quantities of items I have in my drawings match the ones showing in the BOM. Sometimes, the quantities in the BOM display more than there are in the actual drawing. Even after I remove all the blocks, a quantity of 1 still shows in the BOM. That specific block is not found anywhere in the drawing. The only way to remove it is to purge it and re insert the block. This is very annoying specially if I have the drawing completed or there are more than one part displaying the wrong quantity.
I have noticed that the extra items sometimes appear after I create a detail view of the parts. I am not sure if that makes a difference.
Has anyone seen this before and is there a way to remove that "ghost" entry without having to remove all the blocks and re insert them.

Since the last patch (2.14.14) I have been having an issue where the time on my auctions goes WAY off. (Running on Windows 10 with SP1 or whatever the latest giant roll-up patch was called)
Scenario:
I will have 2 bids pending - one at 1:30 and one at 3:00
I win the bid at 1:30
All auction times ADD seven+ hours for no apparent reason
(Obviously) I miss the bid at 3:00
When I look at the UI at 7:00 the auction that should have ended 4 hours ago now shows 4 hours until end (unfortunately I did not get a screen cap)
When I manually time sync the auction immediately goes to "Ended" - but shows neither outbid nor no bid.

I have lost several auctions that my high bid should have easily taken.
Manual time sync works without an issue.
Before 2.14.14 my time sync settings were set to sync at startup and then to sync once a day. I have now set it to sync before every auction (which will obviously be worthless if it thinks an auction that ends in 8 hours and 5 minutes actually ends in 5 minutes) and to sync every 30 minutes - which will still not "save me" when auctions are very close together - and I very frequently bid on auctions that are very close together.
I have observed the time on the auctions be off by a couple minutes after 2.14.14 and have simply done a sync and thought nothing of it - but last night it changed by 8 hours and that seems like a fairly serious bug.

This has nothing to do with time sync. The end date of these 2 actions is in the year 1999! Can you check if the end date changes when the action has finished.

lol - it's done that since I've started using B-o-M several years ago (on every device I've used it on - this is my 3rd laptop). Every auction. I just assumed it was something that eBay did that caused it. Rather annoying as it changes the order of the closed auctions, causing a bit of confusion in tracking my closed items.
EDIT:
I've got an auction coming up in a couple minutes. I've disabled time sync. I'm going to see if I can get screen caps when / if the times change.

The time remaining on upcoming auctions has not changed (yet) - I've minimized the app to the task tray and won't touch it for a few hours to see if that matters.
But the last auction closed - and when B-o-M did it's "final update" after the win the date went to 1999.....

Where does B-o-M keep error logs? I've never been able to find anything aside from basic logs from the install / patch process.
I'm getting this all the time on 12.14.14 - I used the get them very infrequently on prior releases - now it's happening every few days. I thought this release was just a patch for the "view only" issue.... was it something much more?

I'd really like to know why it failed. I watched this auction (and the time) until about 23 minutes before the close and it looked fine. When I checked back I found it in error.

The latest update was only a small bugfix. If something has changed then it was ebay. It does it all the time.
History.log is saved in C:\Users\<Username>\AppData\Roaming\BOM
Additionally, click on the word "error" and see what the page that is shown says.

Not on my system. There's nothing in any app specific directory or temp directory off my ~AppData

I did that - all it does is bring up a cached copy of the auction page - and it says "Bidding has ended on this item" (I assume, once again, the time was screwed up and it submitted a bid well after the auction was over.)
